Uterine Fibroids

Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous growths in the uterus that can distort the uterine cavity and interfere with implantation and pregnancy.

🫀

Overview

What are Uterine Fibroids?

Uterine fibroids (leiomyomas) are benign muscular tumours that develop in or around the uterus. They vary in size from tiny seedlings to large masses that can distort the shape of the uterus. While many fibroids cause no symptoms, certain types — particularly submucosal fibroids — can significantly impair fertility.

Treatment at Iswarya Fertility

Our specialists evaluate fibroid location and size to determine whether surgical removal (myomectomy) is needed before proceeding with IUI or IVF, ensuring the best possible implantation environment.
